All work and materials used come with a minimum of one years warranty. Certain types of electrical accessories usually have more than one years manufacturers warranty. All businesses do have customer call backs, even though we have very few when we do have them we respond quickly and resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We take our customer service work as important as our new business. We want to keep our customers and have tham return to us when more electrical work is required.

As explained in our business ethics we work to the current electrical regulations and all relevant electrical work is supported by NICEIC domestic installer certificates.

REWIRING OF LIGHTING CIRCUITS

Many properties in the local area were built on or before 1966. At this time electrical installations were installed to the 13th Edition Wiring Regulations. Today we are currently working under the BS7671 18th Edition Regulations.

Under the 13th Edition lighting circuits were not required to have an earth wire, as metal light fitings and switches did not exist. On the market today there are thousands of metal lights and switches available. This is why we need an earth cable on lighting circuits. Also the current regulations require an adequate earth cable at every electrical accessory.

We rewire lots of homes without earthing on the lighting circuits. Mostly new cabling can be pulled through existing conduit drops. If chasing of walls is required, then our specialised chasing machine and industrial vaccuum leaves virtually no dust.

So if you think your house was built before 1966, give us a call. We can carry out an in depth survey to provide a quotation for any works that may be required. A clean safety electrical certificate can then be issued and home insurance companies look favourably upon this. It may also help when you come to sell or rent out your home.
